Peace In The Midst Of A Storm

2020 is looking very different from how alot of us envisioned it.

The world is facing a Pandemic by the name Covid19 and to say it has wrecked havoc would be an understatement.

This virus has caused the deaths of thousands and counting..
And infections are on the rise everyday.
It is a sad and scary state of affairs.

Humanity is going through it!

It is times like this that many question their faith.
We get to a point where we ask 'Father can You Hear us? '
Faith has been shook (sic) and may of us have so many questions.

Even I am going through some turmoil and I have questions too.

But I remember that in the Bible, there were tough times too, yet the Lord delivered to his people Victory.

When the Israelites faced deadly serpents, Moses lifted up a Bronze Serpent and All who looked upon it were healed. ( Numbers 21:9)

When they lacked food in the desert , The Lord Provided Manna. (Exodus chapter 16)

In the new Testament, When Jesus was with His disciples at Sea, a Storm came through and the disciples got very scared. Yet Jesus who had been asleep , Woke up and calmed the Storm, (Mark 4:35-41)

These few examples go to show that yes, troubles will come our way and we will experience storms in life, BUT GOD, will always make a way our and rescue us.

In this season Psalm 91 has been an encouraging Word for me.

I am reminded that this too shall pass and Victory once more belongs to Jesus.

Though it tarries...

Have you ever waited for something for so long and then gave up and soon after you were *done with that* what you had waited for  for so long comes to pass and then you scold yourself for not being patient enough? Well that has happened to the best of us. Where we give up too soon and regret later. I have been there for most of the past few months (close to one year) where I had got to the point of giving up on getting a new job. I have prayed, cried..... prayed ........ cried some more and then I told God  I do not have the strength to do this anymore! ...and there just when my own strength had faded He came through in a most amazing way!! someone I had worked for on a volunteer basis called me back in what I can only say was at the nick of time! My encouragement to you and myself this day is that no matter how many times we feel like throwing in the towel, to just wait a little longer. for the Bible says in Habakkuk 2:3 For the revelation awaits an...

HAPPY NEW MONTH

Its April again.. the year is 2014. I hope you have not been fooled :) :) Did you know?: April Fools' Day (sometimes called All Fools' Day ) is an informal holiday celebrated every year on April 1. It is not a national holiday , but is widely recognized and celebrated in various countries as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other, called April fools . Hoax stories are also often found in the press and media on this day. Source: Wikipedia  April for me comes with a lot of good tidings, the most important one being Easter. Easter is more than just a holiday/celebration, it marks the Greatest gift ever given to mankind, that of Salvation and assurance of freedom and life everlasting. May this Easter season be a time for you and i to reflect on God's mercies and love.
