Not Forgotten

The Year is the 2nd Month already! Time sure does fly by quick! For some of us This Year has started out great, and I also know that for some others, it has not been a smooth Year this far.. This Season I have been thinking the words from the Song ' Not Forgotten' by Israel Houghton & New Breed. I am not forgotten I am not forgotten I am not forgotten God knows my name. He knows my name. Many of us when a Year ends, and we have not achieved what we had aspired to at the beginning of that year, we tend to think that God has forgotten us. However, that is not the case, Coz this God we serve is a good God, He does not forsake His Children. In His  Word He says:  Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. - Deuteronomy 31:6 And I have been through the motions myself, when a Year ends and I have not achieved any goals I had set, But God reminds us th...

PSALM 20

This year 2017 is one that I am hopeful will be a good year! That is why I  Choose to begin my posts for this year with this PSALM of victory!!  Have a blessed Year ahead :)   Psalm 20 1. May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;   2  May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion;   3  May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah   4  May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose.   5  We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. 6  Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand. 7  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lor...

Who Are YOU?

sourced from pinterest. I’m walking in power, I’m working miracles I live a life of favor, Cause I know who I am Don’t we all love that declaration! When this song (I know who I AM ) by Sinach plays anywhere, people sing along with such fervor, but sadly when the song is done playing, we all go back to the same ol’ same ol’.. What I mean is we go back to doubting our own identity and we forget whose workmanship we are. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10. (NKJV) The Bible affirms us that we are indeed special and set apart. 1 peter 2:9 says: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (NKJV) It is therefore the high time that we embrace our true identity and as Christians it can only be fou...

Though it tarries...

Have you ever waited for something for so long and then gave up and soon after you were *done with that* what you had waited for  for so long comes to pass and then you scold yourself for not being patient enough? Well that has happened to the best of us. Where we give up too soon and regret later. I have been there for most of the past few months (close to one year) where I had got to the point of giving up on getting a new job. I have prayed, cried..... prayed ........ cried some more and then I told God  I do not have the strength to do this anymore! ...and there just when my own strength had faded He came through in a most amazing way!! someone I had worked for on a volunteer basis called me back in what I can only say was at the nick of time! My encouragement to you and myself this day is that no matter how many times we feel like throwing in the towel, to just wait a little longer. for the Bible says in Habakkuk 2:3 For the revelation awaits an...

NEW YEAR , NEW THINGS, NEW OPPORTUNITIES #2016YAY

‪#‎ LongPostAlert‬ ‪#‎ ThanksgivingReport‬ . Last year was one i would refer to as  ‪#‎ Bittersweet‬ . Why? you may ask... Half the year was great, the other half was not soo great. I went through the motions happy, excited, sad, depressed and every thing in between the tow extremes. But the 3 things that remained constant during 2015 were: 1. God of the Mountain is still God in the valley. 2. Family will always stick by you no matter what. 3. Friends , good friends will make the journey much more easier. My Prayer as we welcomed the new year was: "Oh Lord, may 2016 be kinder, May I get a new lease to life and a job" And What Did the Lord do? He surprised me with a Job I had not even Applied for!!! We do serve the God of the Impossible!!!! this job came through a friend who referred me to my now Boss and the random thing is that I was the one who told him about the job he is in currently and now we are colleagues again in a different Organisation.. How C...
