Who Are YOU?

I’m walking in power,
I’m working miracles
I live a life of favor,
Cause I know who I am

Don’t we all love that declaration!
When this song (I know who I AM) by Sinach plays anywhere, people sing along with such fervor, but sadly when the song is done playing, we all go back to the same ol’ same ol’..
What I mean is we go back to doubting our own identity and we forget whose workmanship we are.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10. (NKJV)
The Bible affirms us that we are indeed special and set apart.
1 peter 2:9 says:
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (NKJV)

It is therefore the high time that we embrace our true identity and as Christians it can only be found in Christ.
We are God’s Children:
 John 1:12
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. (NKJV)

1 Peter 1:23

for you have been born again [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] not of seed which is perishable but [from that which is] imperishable and immortal, that is, through the living and everlasting word of God. (Amplified Bible)

I challenge you today to fully practice the words in both this song and the scripture behind it because you and I KNOW truly who we are and above all WHOSE WE ARE!
Remain Blessed.

Though it tarries...

Have you ever waited for something for so long and then gave up and soon after you were *done with that* what you had waited for  for so long comes to pass and then you scold yourself for not being patient enough? Well that has happened to the best of us. Where we give up too soon and regret later. I have been there for most of the past few months (close to one year) where I had got to the point of giving up on getting a new job. I have prayed, cried..... prayed ........ cried some more and then I told God  I do not have the strength to do this anymore! ...and there just when my own strength had faded He came through in a most amazing way!! someone I had worked for on a volunteer basis called me back in what I can only say was at the nick of time! My encouragement to you and myself this day is that no matter how many times we feel like throwing in the towel, to just wait a little longer. for the Bible says in Habakkuk 2:3 For the revelation awaits an...

HAPPY NEW MONTH

Its April again.. the year is 2014. I hope you have not been fooled :) :) Did you know?: April Fools' Day (sometimes called All Fools' Day ) is an informal holiday celebrated every year on April 1. It is not a national holiday , but is widely recognized and celebrated in various countries as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other, called April fools . Hoax stories are also often found in the press and media on this day. Source: Wikipedia  April for me comes with a lot of good tidings, the most important one being Easter. Easter is more than just a holiday/celebration, it marks the Greatest gift ever given to mankind, that of Salvation and assurance of freedom and life everlasting. May this Easter season be a time for you and i to reflect on God's mercies and love.
