  1. I agree reading Daily Devotions is one way of doing something constructive when you cannot do anything since The Word may actually speak to you and you may find that that time was not wasted. Thanks.

How to G.R.O.W Spiritually.

This year I look forward to growing Spiritually. I was going through some stuff and I came across the "Four Spiritual Laws" Booklet. it is a great #Evangelism Tool There is a very good Acronym for the word GROWTH  G - Go to God in prayer Daily (JOHN 15:7) R - Read God's Word daily (ACTS 17:11) O -  Obey GOD, moment by moment  (JOHN 14:21) W - Witness for Christ by your life and words (MATHEW 4:19 and JOHN 15:8) T -  Trust GOD for every detail of your life (1st PETER 5:7) H -  Have God control and empower your daily life and witness        (GALATIANS 5:16, 17 and ACTS 1:8)   Blessings

Though it tarries...

Have you ever waited for something for so long and then gave up and soon after you were *done with that* what you had waited for  for so long comes to pass and then you scold yourself for not being patient enough? Well that has happened to the best of us. Where we give up too soon and regret later. I have been there for most of the past few months (close to one year) where I had got to the point of giving up on getting a new job. I have prayed, cried..... prayed ........ cried some more and then I told God  I do not have the strength to do this anymore! ...and there just when my own strength had faded He came through in a most amazing way!! someone I had worked for on a volunteer basis called me back in what I can only say was at the nick of time! My encouragement to you and myself this day is that no matter how many times we feel like throwing in the towel, to just wait a little longer. for the Bible says in Habakkuk 2:3 For the revelation awaits an...

HAPPY NEW MONTH

Its April again.. the year is 2014. I hope you have not been fooled :) :) Did you know?: April Fools' Day (sometimes called All Fools' Day ) is an informal holiday celebrated every year on April 1. It is not a national holiday , but is widely recognized and celebrated in various countries as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other, called April fools . Hoax stories are also often found in the press and media on this day. Source: Wikipedia  April for me comes with a lot of good tidings, the most important one being Easter. Easter is more than just a holiday/celebration, it marks the Greatest gift ever given to mankind, that of Salvation and assurance of freedom and life everlasting. May this Easter season be a time for you and i to reflect on God's mercies and love.
