Jacarandas falling: A new season

It’s ‘fall’ season—or so i think.

Well that is what I am deciding to call this period when jacaranda trees world over (Okay in the hoods I have been to at least) are shedding their beautiful purple flowers… it’s like walking all over a royalty carpet ( Soo soft too)

Scientifically, the trees shed the flowers to signify that a new season of growth is about to occur.

In our lives, we go through we can relate this process to those instances where we go through a painful shedding process that makes us wonder just how terrible our season is… but you know what?

This is the chance for a Re-birth, Renewal, Regeneration the result; a brand new you :-)

Just like a Caterpillar morphs into a beautiful butterfly after struggling out of its 'Shell'

In the same way after we have been broken,

God gives us a new lease to life and a new vision. And the best part of all this is He does not abandon us during the process.

He is with us all the way:

So there it is we are broken to be made whole for as it is written:

So next time you see a jacaranda tree check carefully and you will see new shoots budding for a new season.

Remain Blessed.

Though it tarries...

Have you ever waited for something for so long and then gave up and soon after you were *done with that* what you had waited for  for so long comes to pass and then you scold yourself for not being patient enough? Well that has happened to the best of us. Where we give up too soon and regret later. I have been there for most of the past few months (close to one year) where I had got to the point of giving up on getting a new job. I have prayed, cried..... prayed ........ cried some more and then I told God  I do not have the strength to do this anymore! ...and there just when my own strength had faded He came through in a most amazing way!! someone I had worked for on a volunteer basis called me back in what I can only say was at the nick of time! My encouragement to you and myself this day is that no matter how many times we feel like throwing in the towel, to just wait a little longer. for the Bible says in Habakkuk 2:3 For the revelation awaits an...

HAPPY NEW MONTH

Its April again.. the year is 2014. I hope you have not been fooled :) :) Did you know?: April Fools' Day (sometimes called All Fools' Day ) is an informal holiday celebrated every year on April 1. It is not a national holiday , but is widely recognized and celebrated in various countries as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other, called April fools . Hoax stories are also often found in the press and media on this day. Source: Wikipedia  April for me comes with a lot of good tidings, the most important one being Easter. Easter is more than just a holiday/celebration, it marks the Greatest gift ever given to mankind, that of Salvation and assurance of freedom and life everlasting. May this Easter season be a time for you and i to reflect on God's mercies and love.
